Undergraduate Program Courses
The department integrates the cultural and creative industry management within the realm of humanities and the arts through three major cross-disciplinary capabilities:
- Cultural Studies and Cultural Space Planning
- Management and Marketing Studies
- Interdisciplinary Art and Media Design
This integration combines both theoretical and practical aspects, cultivating well-rounded cultural management professionals.
Each field is equipped with relevant foundational courses that help students uncover their individual interests and potentials.
These foundational courses then expand into other areas of study, nurturing specialized abilities as cornerstones for future development.
The explanations of each course area are as follows:
1. Cultural Studies and Cultural Space Planning:
This field equips students with foundational tools for cultural research while enhancing their understanding of the environment they are in. It combines local, cross-strait, East Asian, and global cultural, economic, and social contexts.
2. Business Management and Marketing Research:
Students develop the necessary professional knowledge and skills for the industrialization of cultural and creative industries. This includes foundational and advanced theories in business management and marketing research within cultural industries, along with practical application and analytical abilities.
3. Interdisciplinary Arts and Media Design:
This field nurtures students to possess the necessary interdisciplinary artistic and aesthetic perception skills to tangibly realize cultural and creative content. It also includes technical skills in multimedia communication production.
